SLIK-DAC

The Simple Language Independent Kit for Creating OPC Data Access Clients (SLIK-DAC) is a software control used for creating OPC Data Access client applications. Add OPC DA client capability to your existing VB6, C#, or VB.NET application.

SLIK-DAC is an ActiveX and Windows Form Control. It implements that same object model as defined by the OPC Foundation’s Data Access Automation Interface standard. This provides you with the convenience of a familiar programming model, but allows you to choose your programming language and development environment. It also means that the SLIK-DAC can be an easy replacement for any OPC Automation Wrapper implementation that is currently used by OPC client applications.

You write your application using the SLIK-DAC’s properties, methods, and events. SLIK-DAC manages all the OPC and COM details for you.
